Joyce Parker Terry is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She began piano lessons at the age of five and continued lessons through college earning a Bachelor of Music in Piano.

Because of her diverse training, Joyce is able to play varied styles of music ranging from classical to jazz to popular. She has played events ranging from weddings to circuses.

Throughout the years, Joyce has been fortunate to work with a wide range of talented musicians. Through these contacts, she has built a network that is noted for dependable, talented musicians.

Her playing venues have included the Riverchase Galleria, The Wynfrey Hotel, Country Club of Birmingham, Mountain Brook Country Club, Gabrella Manor, numerous churches and wedding facilities.

Along with freelancing, Joyce maintains a private teaching studio and is a staff accompanist at Samford University.
